Heritage Home Health Averted our Family Crisis

In early July we put our Mom in the hospital where she stayed for two months while her Doctor treated her for heart & kidney malfunction, at one point we almost lost her.

During that time we put my Dad in the hospital for blood pressure issues resulting in occasional falls. After individual medical assessments it was determined that our Mother required Keir Care, and our Father Hillcrest facility support upon release from the hospital.

So after 60 years of marriage they were to be separated for the remainder of their days which, of course, was devastating to us all. Due to their very different medical conditions, Mom could not be allowed to go to Hillcrest to be with Dad and Dad could not go to Keir Care to be with Mom. Therefore all our worse fears were unfolding and it seemed there was nothing we could do about it.

UNTIL my Mom heard about Heritage Home Health from a lady she was talking with at the hospital. Mom relayed the story to me about how this lady had an ailing husband at home she was struggling to care for, but with the help of the two wonderful accredited nurses whom are the owners/operators, they were given more time together in their own home. I immediately phoned the number Mom gave me and the rest is history. Our parents are together living happily in their own home. Darlene & Marsha help them with everything and anything they need help with, be it medical or nonmedical. Since my Brother & his wife live in Blue Ridge (an hour away) and my husband & I live in Rocky Mountain House (2 ½ hours away), from Barrhead where our parents live, these professional, personable, capable, hardworking Home Care ladies have averted our family crisis! I can’t tell you how much stress and worry this has taken off our family. We are so very grateful for Darlene and Marsha and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who has a similar need.
